Family who lost everything in Almeda Fire

Lucimar Navas family lost everything in the Almeda fire and almost didn’t make it out safely. The only things they have are the clothes they were wearing that day. This family consists of an amazing single mother, grandmother, and 2 wonderful children going into 1st and 2nd grade. Lucimar moved to Oregon last year to create a better life for her family. After working hard for a year, she was able to provide a home for her children and mother. They are devastated they lost their home and possessions. Anything donated is greatly appreciated and needed to help this kind and loving family. I was very fortunate to be one of their teachers. She was the sunshine in our classroom and made me smile every single day. She experiences autism and changes to her schedule are difficult. We want to make things go back to normal as possible for them. 100% of donations will be given to this family. Thank you!
