Hi everyone,
This is Kayak Jeff. We are still in shock and disbelief with the sudden passing of our dear friend Whitney Turner, who sadly left us on Tuesday April 6, 2021. As the family and friends are now coming to terms with this, their new reality, we ask that you consider a gift of support to help Shana and the family during this most difficult time.
With his vast sardonic humor Whitney has always been a mentor and a brilliant know-it-all who actually really did seem to know it all. If you had project, or a thought or an inkling of an idea, Whitney’s knowledge of almost any subject and his overwhelming desire to help you would kick in and he would offer up cogent ideas, thoughts, and obscure references to help you kick start your project and he would jump in head first helping you from start to finish. Whitney was always giving up his time, his expertise, and his personal knowledge, to help family, friends or even just an acquaintance in their time of need. It is in that same spirit of giving that we ask for help for Shana and their family.
Whitney met his beloved Shana on a kayak trip and they were married in 2016. They just celebrated their 5 year wedding anniversary. Now Shana has the overwhelming task of planning his funeral.
Please help us support Shana and the family as they find themselves facing a world of expenses in managing the logistics of settling his estate. His sudden and unexpected death put his immediate family in disarray and left Shana with more on her plate than a platoon could handle.
Whitney touched everyone with his selflessness and giving heart no matter what the stakes. This loss has left a large gap in the lives of everyone who knew him; the financial aspect is just an added burden and challenge. Please help Shana and family as you are able during their moment of need.
