Family of Tim Kath - Emergency Recovery Fund

Hi, My name is Colleen, and I am fundraising for the family of Tim Kath, good friends of the Schwebach family. On the evening of New Years Eve (December 31, 2021), Tim Kath (42) lost his battle with COVID-19 quickly and unexpectedly. Tim contracted the disease while helping his elderly parents recover from a fall. Tim lost his father to COVID-19 on Christmas Day, 2021. He then contracted the disease himself and soon developed pneumonia. After arriving at the hospital his condition worsened quickly. Many friends, acquaintances, and fellow parishioners of St. Boniface Parish in Lidgerwood, ND organized to pray for his recovery. Tim passed away on the evening of the last day of the year. God rest his soul.

 

Tim is survived by his wife, Erin Kath, and his 10 children (6 months to 19 years). Erin is a homeschooling, stay-at-home mother, and Tim was the breadwinner of the family. All of the proceeds of this fundraiser will go to the Kath Family for their immediate and ongoing living expenses as they recover from the loss of their husband and father.

 

The home of the Kath family is in dire need of major renovation or replacement. Tim had been repairing the older, 3-bedroom home for many years, and it will become a hazard to the health of the family if left unattended. Any donations past the family's immediate need will go toward helping the Kaths to find and afford a new home.

 

Any funds would be appreciated starting as soon as possible. The amount of funds required will not be capped since the family has no source of income right now. Your support means so much to the Kath family, and to us! Having the peace of mind that she will be able to take care of her children will really help Erin process these tragic events and have confidence moving forward in raising her family.
