On Saturday, August 3rd the family of Maribel Hernandez Loya suffered a tremendous loss. Maribel was sadly inside the Wal-Mart in El Paso, Texas the day a gunman opened fired on innocent lives.
Maribel was a loving woman who was described as family and friend oriented. She also had a lot of love for her plants and dog. Due to her sudden death her family is going to be left with a financial burden. She has left behind her mother Aurora, siblings David, Albert, and Alfred Hernandez; her children Yvette, Yvonne , Raul , and Andres; her grandchildren Nevaeh, Desiree, Ivan, Giselle, Gulianna, Andrea, Krista, Leonardo, Jocelyn, and Andie.
Although money will not take the place of Maribel, we can come together and help her family financially with any burdens they may have after this event. Please find it in your heart to make a donation. I am more than sure ANY amount will be greatly appreciated by her family. One of her sons let me know that all the support from the community and even country is comforting them at this moment of loss. #ElPasoStrong
(The family of Maribel was not familiar with starting a Gofundme, so I contacted her son Andy who gave me permission on his behalf to create one. I went to Clint High School with Andy for a year and want to make sure they are taken care of. Andy has the login information and he and his family can login and manage the account.
