My name is Amalia Mata, family friend to fallen agent Javier Fabela. His passing has come as a shock to all that knew him. He adored his wife of 15 years, Damaris Fabela, and loved his children with all his heart. After serving his country in the Army as an infantry sniper, he served the US Border Patrol for the last 19 years.
