ORIGINAL STORY
This page is to support Darcy's wife and boys during this scary and emotional time. Our goal to ease the burden for his family so they can be with him without thoughts of finances for there future. Our hope is Mandi will be able to take some time off from her job as and teaching assistant to children with special needs. Darcy himself owned a small welding shop, and because of this his business can not go on with out him. They do not have extended medical coverage to help them at this dire time.

On December 13 Darcy was admitted to emergency with a painful stomach ache and troubles with breathing and within 24 hours he was place in an induced coma as well as paralysis as his organs were shutting down due to septic shock. He had a massive septic infection raging through his body. The doctors are baffled at the cause and have no answers to its origin. Until they can locate the cause he will need the medical equipment to proform all the functions of every organ as he fights for his life.

We are hoping as community we can do our small part to support Darcy and his family who have given so much to his community. He always been the guy you call when you dont know who to call. Anyone who knows darcy knows that his family is his top priorty, and is the most hands on father i have ever known, He is a worship leader at Gospel chapel in sylvan lake. He is a leader. When he see's something that is needed, he is the one holding the flag. He is one of the original founders of his home town's popular music festival " Shake the Lake" a year event that's staying true to his original vision : God, family and good music.

Darcy loves his family, his community and town of Sylvan Lake Alberta , and now we urgently need to show him we will help to take care of his family now that he is unable. I appreciate any support of prayer. We believe our God is greater, and pray for unexpected full recovery.
