Please help bring this Family home!!!!

On a Family trip to Houston Texas My Brother, Mitch Hathaway,His long time Girlfriend Mandy Oslin, and her four children had their beloved pet Pig, Honey Oslin stolen along with their rental car!! Mandy had decided to get a pet for the children shortly after the pandemic hit last year. When she asked the kids what kind of pet they wanted, she wasn't surprised when they responded with "A Pig". Two to three months after they adopted Honey they realized she was a special pig so they had her trained and certified as a companion service animal. Honey was loved and treated as if she was a new member of the already large Family.

    Early Wednesday morning Mandy got the kids all settled in to their motel room while honey waited in the car. Mandy nor my Brother could ever have imagined the sorrow that was about to become their reality. Mandy returned to the car to find it gone with Honey inside. She couldn't believe her eyes, she didn't want to believe it was true. Unfortunately their beloved family pet had been stolen, panic set in;was someone taking care of her? What would a car thief do when they realized she was in the back of the car? Would they hurt her? Would they just abandon Honey somewhere?

    Right away my Brother, Mitch Hathaway started combing the streets for any sign of Honey or the rental car. I received a frantic phone call from him around 7:30 or 8am, He was absolutely hysterical, crying and trying to tell me what had happened, I could barely understand what he was trying to tell me. Once I realized what happened I asked how the girls were handling it and he said that they were holding off hoping Mitch would be able to locate her. Unfortunately they had to break the news. The kids were absolutely devistated. With Mom they called the local news agency and put out a story in hopes of finding Honey.

     Sadly,  putting the story on the News did help them find the car and Honey Oslin.  A police investigation is ongoing so I can't say anymore than that Honey was found, tragically she had already passed away.  

    So now this family has no way to get home to California.  They are utterly brokenhearted over the loss of Honey.  Please help them find the courage to come back to California.  As I mentioned before their rental car was stolen and they are struggling to find the extra money to rent another car. Hopefully you can help them just a little and try to soften the heartache they are suffering from.  Thank you for taking the time to read their story
