Family Fun Day Ottawa March 27th

We are hosting a family fun day on Parliament Hill in Ottawa on March 27.2021.

This event is being held to raise awareness to the struggles and challenges our children have faced in this past year. We are looking to bring a day of normalcy back to our children, with fun activities and entertainment for them to enjoy.

We started out with the intention of funding this project on our own, as we are getting closer to the date we are learning how expensive an event like this can be, and are quickly running out of funds.  With more people confirming their attendance, this event is turning out to be bigger than we had originally anticipated. We are just two mothers trying to bring this together, who’s incomes have both been greatly affected  during this pandemic. This is requiring us to now source out more activities to be able to ensure every child who attends has the opportunity to participate in all the magic of this day.

It is with reluctance that we are now asking for community support to help make this day everything we envision. If you could donate to help our cause in anyway outside of monetary donations that is also very much welcomed. Maybe you are a soccer coach willing to run some drills, maybe you are a face painter and can bring your gifts to this day, whatever it is that you can offer please reach out to us on Facebook or Instagram @ EmpoweringTheChildren.
