Update Edit:
“It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of our dearest Falon’s passing on Saturday, February 17th, 2024.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to each one of you for your kind words, unwavering support & generous donations throughout these past years.

Your words & contributions provided comfort to our family as we faced the challenges during this unimaginable time.”

Hello,

My name is Leanne and I am starting this fundraiser for my wonderful niece, Falon.

It’s difficult to explain this emotionally heart breaking circumstance but I have tried to summarize into these few words..

Falon is a beautiful 6 year old girl with a feisty spirit. She has an 8 year old sister and the two of them are totally inseparable. She is a complete beam of sunshine and loves everything shes come to experience, even with the cards she’s been dealt.

In December 2018, Falon (turning 3) and her sister, Denver (5) lost their mother unexpectedly in a horrific car accident. The sudden loss of their mother left everyone completely overwhelmed and heartbroken.

Since the accident, their loving grandmother (who had also just lost her husband to cancer not even a year before) became the girls soul care provider.

With only her pension to help support the three of them, times have been increasingly hard, however, it has always been manageable until now.

Little Falon, who has lived through so much already in her young life, was just diagnosed with Diffuse Pontine Glioma.

This diagnosis in simpler terms is terminal Brain Cancer which has come as complete shock that has once again left our family utterly devastated.

Although doctors have said that Falon’s diagnosis is inevitable, the family has decided to pursue the treatment plan in efforts to extend her life as much as possible.

Unfortunately, this will require them to go back and forth to the hospital everyday for the duration of treatment.

With the cost of living being so high, and other personal circumstances this has made things even tougher.

I am starting this fundraiser in order to help support the girls and their Grandmother with their everyday expenses and things they may need as they navigate through this unimaginable time. They should not have to worry about whether or not they can afford parking at the hospital, have enough gas to make it to & from or even pay their monthly bills on time. Aside from this, the tragic thought and disconcerting feeling of having to wonder if/how to prepare for future funeral arrangements should not be the main thing on their minds right now.

I am reaching out to all who may read this, in hopes that even a small donation can help to relive just a little bit of this stress so that whatever time Falon has left can be spent enjoying all that life has to offer along side everyone who is fortunate enough to be a part of her life.

Although words can not begin to express the gratitude we have, I would like to sincerely thank you in advance from the bottom of my heart and let you all know that we greatly appreciate anyone that is able to donate and all who are able to share and spread the word of Falon’s unimaginable journey.
