Meningioma Brain Tumor Surgery

As a recent Spring 2016 LSU Graduate and recent LSU Track & Field senior. I had just started my postgraduate journey and began a new job and internship with LSU Strength & Conditioning. I have overcome many obstacles and made a lot happen in my life by hardwork and dedication. Now I have another hurdle to clear. For years I have had bad migraines and vomitting spells in which I thought were normal and regular sickness. I found out yesterday after a visit with the emergency room following a sickness that I have been diagnosed with a Brain Tumor called a meningioma in my left lobe. It calls for immediate action. It is a large tumor around 5 CM. I am heavily in prayer that everything will be be in my favor. I received multiple x-rays, a cat scan, & MRI to confirm and get the most info. There is currently an excessive amount of pressure in my brain which needs immediate surgery. I have the best doctors in Louisiana taking care of the procedure. I will undergo embolization on Monday, June 11th & removal of the tumor on Wednesday, June 13th. I have received many texts, calls, and social media contact in regard, for which I am truly grateful. I hope to get through this without any motor function loss and a fast recovery. This is indeed a major procedure in which a part of my skull will be removed. I am reaching out for all moral and financial support as this is an extremely expensive procedure in which insurance does not cover 100%. Along and the following physical therapy afterwards. Any and all help will be much oblidged. I am a fighter and normally seen as a great image of good health. Once again, Thank you all! I could not get through this without any of the vast support! One more hurdle to clear! Another fight to win! God Bless!
