Faith Over Fear: Help Angela #BeatBurkitt!

Hello,

We are Jordanne, Lauren, and Georgia Cabrera. We are raising funds to support our mom's journey of being healed from Burkitt Lymphoma.

Angela Cabrera is a wife to Ron, our mother, grandmother of two, and a 36-year resident of South Lake Tahoe. She is known and loved by many in our community. Our family has lived a blessed life in the Sierras. However, the past 4 years have been especially challenging for us. Our mama has led our family through a difficult season since our dad survived a stroke in 2018. Her journey has included helping dad heal while maintaining a small business and modifying our home to accommodate dad's wheelchair. We could not have faced any of these challenges without the love and support of our community. Through it all, our family has grown stronger in our faith and love for one another. The goodness of God is our anchor as we press onward.

In January 2023, Mama was diagnosed with Burkitt Lymphoma. After consulting with numerous doctors and specialists, Mama is choosing to pursue a course of treatment in the Reno-Tahoe Area. She will work closely with a team of oncologists and other health specialists through a course of personalized care. Her treatment will merge the best of conventional and integrative medicines. The treatment protocol is expensive, as insurance will not cover all of it. However, our family and friends trust that God will provide for all of Mama's needs. We trust Him to heal her completely! And we invite you to join us by sowing into the unfolding of this healing testimony.
