Faith in Action....hometown style!

My Name is Rev. Judy Campbell. I am a UU community minister and I’m starting a go-fund-me effort for a sister minister friend of mine and her Bethel AME congregation here in my home town of Plymouth, Mass....Their tiny historic building is in desperate need of repair and in the spirit of brotherly and sisterly love, our local clergy interfaith group is stepping up to help...and I decided I would like to do something on my own as well...and this is it.

Through this effort, you my friends and colleagues and readers, have a chance to join with me to help with rebuilding the home and the heart of this historic congregation, one window pane, one roofing nail, one floorboard at a time. Think of it as a social, religious, compassionate, ecumenical and multi-racial, neighborly demonstration of love in action....and every little bit will help. (Think of the widow’s mite)

The congregation first met in this building in 1870... and in honor of that I will invite donations at this in these suggested amounts.

$1.87 for nails

$18.70 for a floorboard

$37.40 (twice that number) one of several window panes

$74.80...(3x that number) towards roof repairs...
