Faith Family Accident in Vietnam
We are going to use the donations to pay the medical bills and therapy bills that have been incurred.

Updates as followed please read to the end.
As you may know.
Our family was traveling in Vietnam and we were about half way into our trip to go to a different town to catch a plane when our van driver rear ended another car and sandwiched that car underneath the back end of a delivery truck. This must have been pretty bad because the family was in thw Vietnam news. I was in the passenger seat and sustained bruised ribs and bruised knees. My wife received bruising to her face and is now missing some teeth. My daughter received no injuries. My boy got the the worst of it he broke his leg and requires surgery for repair. Our travelers insurance will be of minimal assistance and we are currently focusing all available funds for medical bills and travel home as soon as we can. If you have a little spare $$ and are willing to donate please do. Every penny counts. You can share your information and we will thank each and every one of you who donate. Thank you.
Thank you for all of those that have currently donated it means the world to us that you are willing to share a bit.
Update is as followed.
The original goal was random and I appologize for that as I have never done a gofundme or anything of its kind before. Again I appologize for any misconceptions.
Vic came through the surgery and has 2 rods implanted in the center of his left femur. His Dr seems confident that he will do just fine at this point we might even be getting him up to start mobility exercises later today.
Anne still has missing teeth and does not have full mobility of her jaw. She also is being examined for a possible ACL rupture or tear in her right knee.
My knees ribs and back are still a mite tender. My knees are 3x the size that they should be and are very bruised swollen and painful. My x-rays revealed that it's only soft tissue issues. nothing life threatening but still very painful.
Peanut was shaken but not stirred as she received no injuries other than she did vomit after the wreck.
The inlaws are mostly fine. The eldest is being treated for a punctured lung and broken ribs and possibly will be heading back home tomorrow. Everyone else received minor injuries bumps and bruises.
Again I will keep y'all updated on this app because I so infrequently post on FB.
Update report: as of July
Some of the return flights might be delayed due to injuries.
Anne has to have reconstruction surgery on her fractured maxilla (top jaw) and still is awaiting surgery for her torn ACL. but otherwise is doing fine. she will be in no condition to travel at the scheduled time of departure.
Victor is doing swimmingly well he is bouncing back but has a long road to travel with therapy and has to have the steel pins in place for 6 to 7 months so we are sure that the bone has fully healed. at this time he is not in good condition to travel at this time either.
Annilese is having the time of her life at this time and has constant attention and stimulation that she craves and needs. we would like to keep the kids together at this time so at this time she won't be making the scheduled flight home yet either.
I will be returning on schedule to focus on my job and insurance issues and taking care of legal stuff and looking out for the best interests of the rest of my family. this is not a choice that I make lightly and I will probably will get some bad juju from some of you but I assure all of you that I have run all possible scenario outcomes that I can think of and it all boils down to this, be it a less that desired choice but believe me it has to happen this way for the absolute best outcome for my family. Through thick or thin, better or worse my wife stood by me with past choices and now I have the chance to better our family and have them all return safe and sound.
Update: Undying Unwavering Thanks to those who donated and sent thier thoughts and prayers.
I will be returning home on schedule. To get our finances back on trac k and to see what i can gather together for the upcoming medical costs.
Victor is doing good and therapy for him is going well.
Annilese is as active as ever.
Anne is awaiting maxilla surgery as well as a PCL not ACL total tear. The PCL is the ligament behind the knee that prevents your knee from bending the wrong way. the costs are piling up and we really could use any help that anyone can offer.
Again thanks for all of your guys help it is greatly appreciated more than you possibly know.
Update: on August 25th I flew back to Vietnam to pick up tha family it went vert well and we are back at home in littlefork as of September 3rd.
Everyone is doing well Anne and I are back at work and the kids are happily back at school. we are still recovering from the ordeal. Vic still has to have the pins removed at some point. We will be heading to Duluth for the removal and we have a phenomenal Dr going to be doing that, Dr. Zamzow if yall are curious he has done countless orthopedic surgeries in the past for my residents and has done a great job. I trust him fully with my boy.
again thank you all for those that have donated we are about ⅕ of the way to the goal and every little bit helps more than you know.
during this last trip back to Vietnam I did find out unfortunately that the person that our driver rearended and sandwiched under the big delivery truck later succumbed to her injuries. please send a few prayers thier way. it is very unfortunate that there was loss of life but it could have been so much worse. y'all have my eternal thanks and gratitude for your thoughts, prayers, and donations. my inlaws are doing better as well.
