URGENT MESSAGE FROM JEFF ROGERS, FACTORY THEATER BOARD PRESIDENT.
FIVE BUCKS CAN GO A LONG WAY!
Hello Friends of The Factory Theater,
I’m Jeff Rogers, President of the Board and one of the Founders of The Factory Theater and I wanted to let you know that we are over 2/3 of the way to our goal! Thank you for your incredible generosity and good will. We are so close to insuring that we will survive this unprecedented time.
For 27 years, The Factory Theater has been putting on Jeff Award winning original productions that are bold, unexpected theatrical experiences. In fact, our last show before the shut down, Last night in Karaoke Town was also Jeff Award Nominated. We do theater the Chicago way.
But now our way of theater is under attack from an inconceivable threat and we need your help or we will simply not survive to see tomorrow.
Like you, So many of us have already lost so much…
Some of us have lost senior year…
Some have lost their jobs…
Some have lost companies…
And some of us have lost a whole lot more.
And, I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of losing things. And I’d hate to lose The Factory
We know that if we can achieve our goal, we can insure The Factory will continue the wonderful Chicago tradition of award winning storefront theater.
So, here’s what we’re going to do. We are going to continue this campaign until Friday May 8th, and on that day we will shut down the campaign with a link to a full production of our Jeff Award Nominated play “May The Road Rise Up” from last season.
Your job, if you are able, is to help us make sure the Factory survives by donating now.
Simply $5. More if you can but if we can get enough people at $5 we’ll hit our goal by next Friday and celebrate with a great night of theater.
