Medical & Monthly Expenses

Hi! My name is Shelley Hilliard and I am Marvin and Diann Lunsford's niece. I am fundraising for them due to some really unfortunate circumstances.

On Thursday, May 18th, my Aunt Diann was getting ready for work when she suddenly started experiencing chest pains. Thinking it was indigestion, she took some antacids. When the pain would not subside, my Uncle Marvin took her to the ER. After running multiple tests, the ER doctor admitted her to the hospital with the expectation of a heart cath on Friday. After multiple delays, she had her heart cath on Monday, May 22nd. The cardiologist said that she had a rock hard blockage in her main artery. Her only best possible option was to have open heart surgery. She had a successful triple bypass surgery on Wednesday, May 24th. During this incredibly difficult time, my uncle has been by her side. He has had to miss work and will continue to miss work for an indefinite period of time. He works part time and does not have any available sick or personal time. She will need to have cardiac rehab 2-3 times a week for 3 months. She will start cardiac rehab in approximately 3 weeks. During this time, she will not be able to work her regular hours at her job, if at all. Unfortunately, she just started with a new credit union and does not have any available sick or personal time. They still have monthly expenses as well as the added cost of medical bills. Some people have been asking what they can do to help them. Prayers! Prayers are what are needed and appreciated most! To help with all of the unexpected expenses though, I have set this up for anyone who would like to contribute toward these expenses. Any amount is greatly appreciated and will be used to help alleviate the financial hardship this has caused my aunt and uncle. Thank you!
