Face shields for Toledo Area Hospitals
Donation protected
I run a 3d printing shop in Toledo, Ohio, recently I have switched over production to help with the COVID-19 outbreak in supplying The Toledo Hospital with disposable face shields that they are in very short supply of.
The Toledo Hospital reviewed the design and accepted any help I can offer, now I am asking for help in supporting the cost in producing a large number of these to deliver.
All funds will go to production, equipment, and assembly of these face shields, any left over will be dispersed to the hospital as a donation, or i may contact other 3d print companies out there and help them setup their own production to help their local hospitals.
Cost breakdown:
Frame materials and print time (per piece) -$0 .80
A4 clear Shielding (per sheet) -$0 .28
Silicone strap for back - $0.16
I will keep producing these as long as i keep funding or as long as they have the need for them.
If you want to donate physical supplies such as 3D filament or clear face shielding you can reach out to me at [email redacted]
thats $1.24 per face shield with no profit. Thank you to anyone that helps! Stay safe
