Stand Together Shields On

Donation protected

All proceeds go to materials, equipment, and shipping to get as many shields in the hands of nurses, doctors, etc as fast as possible.

We are donating our time and current equipment toward this endeavor.

A large thank you to El Dorado County and the Eldorado County library who have lent us a few of their printers and filament to help increase production output.

Standing Together Shields On

"Healthcare workers rely on personal protective equipment to protect themselves and their patients from being infected and infecting others.

But shortages are leaving doctors, nurses and other frontline workers dangerously ill-equipped to care for COVID-19 patients, due to limited access to supplies such as gloves, medical masks, respirators, goggles, face shields, gowns, and aprons."

Who We Are

We are the startup hido health . Currently designing and building an automated medication dispensing system for research and clinical trials.
Walk up to the machine and the device dispenses your medication.  It's that simple.  The device recognizes who you are, knows which meds are yours and when you need to take them.  Take your meds under Video Observation and go about your day.  Researchers and clinical trials will know when or if you have taken your meds and how well you adhere to your schedule.  We believe this will greatly increase the speed of research and clinical trials by putting  validated data in real time in the hands of clinical managers.  We design and build everything ourselves.  We are makers at heart.

COVID-19

Due to the increased severity of the COVID-19 pandemic and the shortage of Personal Protective Equipment for medical professionals we have decided and committed our current resources to making face shields.  We have currently purchased enough materials to make ~15,000+ face shields.  We have also purchased 6 more Prusa MK3S Printers to help increase output.  Medical professionals need equipment and we have the manufacturing capacity to help fill the void.   We have halted production of our AI driven medication devices and have already started rapidly producing medical grade face shields.  We took a leap of faith and have spent $20,000 on raw materials to make sure we can keep our 3D printers running 24/7.   The more we raise the faster we can procure more supplies and additional manufacturing capacity.  Due to the financial cost we are turning to YOU the community to help us.  With your donations we will be able to purchase more materials which means more face shields thus ensuring more protection for the hospitals in your community.  Even though your donations are much appreciated you do not need to make a donation to help us out.

 How can you Help?

1) DONATE... The easiest way to help us out is to contribute whatever you can to our campaign

2) Spread the word... Post wherever you can.  Social media, Facebook, twitter, linked in, instagram...you name it it can help us get the word out and create a following.   You can follow and help us repost here:

                   https://www.linkedin.com/company/hido-technologies/?viewAsMember=true
                   https://twitter.com/hido_health
                   https://www.facebook.com/hidotechnologies/

3) Make your own face shields.... If you have a 3D printer or are thinking of buying one now is the time.  We use Prusa Slicr and you can find our .3mf files here.  You can then tune to the specifications of your printer.  It is important to start with our .3mf file as there are specific settings for the interface layers as we stack the masks for printing.  This allows us to get ~1 mask per hour

We have designed the face mask for production.  Assembly is easy.  Materials: 1 hido shield band, 1 8 1/2" x 11" 10 mil clear PET sheets, 1 elastic band with metal barbs on each end (string, button hole elastic, cut elastic can also be used)
