Face Shields for Central Vermont

Donation protected
Hello All!  As some of you may know, I have a tiny Etsy shop where I sell 3D Printed knickknacks utilizing my 3D Printers.  I've got three of them!  I have now suspended my Esty Shop and am now utilizing my 3D Printers, to print NIH (National Institute of Health) approved Face Shields.  I am currently using all stock of my material that I had on-hand for my business and have purchased the other materials needed to complete assembly of these Face Shields.

These Face Shields will be built for the Nurses and Personal Care Attendants for Central Vermont Home Health.   Once I have printed and assembled for all our employees, I'd like to start reaching out to first responders in the Central Vermont area, to see if they are in need.

These face shields can be disassembled, disinfected and reassembled easily.  The shields are also cost effective and replaceable.

These are donated at no cost to CVHHH and First Responders in need of them.  They may have or at some point get more professional face shields, but if they don't, these work great in a pinch.

I am asking for donations of any amount for the purchase of supplies.  I had stock of PLA (the material used to print the plastic part) but am running out.  One roll of this material is enough to make about 17 NIH approved Face Shields.  One roll costs approximately $25   Total cost of the Face Shields is approximately $2.50-$4.15, depending on source of materials.  Some materials are harder to source than others.

The face shields materials consist of:

3D printed head visor = ~$1.50 - $2.40
Face Shield (over head transparencies) = $.50 - $.75
Waistband elastic (back of head strap) = $.50 - $1.00
