My Brothers Surgery Expenses

Hello Friends and Family, 
My name is Yvonne Cole. If  you know me, you probably know my twin brother Shawn Connell. I know my brother would never do this, so I am doing it for him. Shawn went to see a doctor this week because he has been in tremendous pain and has been having numbness in his arm.  The doctor says he has 3 bulging herniated disc in his upper neck and needs surgery.  The surgery will be to take out the herniated discs, fuse the vertebras together with bone, and put in a plate.  

Shawn and his wife Jennifer do not have medical insurance. Shawn hasn't worked full time in months. I don't want to get into their financial issues right now, but I will say it is NOT good.  For Shawn to have this surgery, he needs money. I honestly do not know how much, but after doing a little research online, I put the low estimate of $50,000. Shawn will not be able to work again, like he always has. And the recovery time is 18-24 months. 

Any money will go straight to Shawn and Jenny for the expenses they will incur. We need this money as soon as possible. The surgery cannot be scheduled until he gets the money. I want to thank you in advance for whatever amount you can and will give. My brother means the world to me. Right now he cannot even function because of the pain he is in. 

My brother has always always always been the one to help someone else. Maybe even you reading this right now. Please do not take this lightly. Yes...I'm begging...please give what you can!!
