Miss Costello runs the Marathon!

The British School of Malaga has been collaborating with Fundación Harena since 2011. Our KS5 students have been volunteers in their "Volunteering with the Elderly" programme and we have raised thousands of euros for their projects in Ethiopia and Peru, where they provide education, food, medicine and clothing to the nursery schools they subsidise. The Foundation also drills wells in remote villages so that villagers can have water for consumption and irrigation. As a result of having access to water, there is more hygiene, less sickness and greater self-sufficiency as they can grow crops. Click here for the Fundación Harena website .
