The Ella de la Rosa Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund was created in tribute to our mother, sister and friend Ella - as a way to share her love and hope with others. Through this Endowment, the family hopes to make a difference in a young girl’s life by helping them achieve their academic goals and ambitions.
Changing the World – One Girl at a Time
Each year the Boys & Girls Clubs of Edinburg RGV will select an outstanding female Club member who exemplifies leadership. The Ella de la Rosa Memorial Endowed Scholarship fund would provide a $1,000 scholarship annually into perpetuity for a Club member.
For over 15 years Ella found her true love and calling as a Board Member for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Edinburg RGV. She, along with other board members, over a period of five years, raised enough money to build the new center located on Rogers Road & Expressway 83. Because of her profound devotion to the center, she has touched the lives of many Edinburg children years to come and through her legacy she will continue to do so.
