Malawi Mission Trip

My name is Sydney Hahn. I’m 27 years old and absolutely on fire for Jesus. I am desperate to see the hand of God moving in the nations and to see His glory cover the earth. The Abode is my home church, where I currently serve on our greeting and childcare teams. I help facilitate pre-service prayer and am a part of our intercessor's prayer group.

I’m raising money for my first mission trip to Malawi, Africa. I’ll be in Africa from March 8-20, 2023. I’ll be traveling with the Abode church and Brent Joseph (co-pastor) from The Outpouring church, located in Clermont, Florida. While in Africa, we’ll be partnering with local churches in Malawi and our already-established Abode communities. During our time in Africa, we'll be preaching the gospel and praying for the sick. Our calling; to fulfill the great commission by partnering with the Lord to be His hands and feet, to bring the heart of the Father to those in need, and to be His laid down lovers.

My heart for this trip is to partner with the Lord in what He is doing in Africa. The kingdom of heaven is not merely in talk, but in power; I'm hungry to see His miracles and loving presence touch the lives of those we'll encounter. I desire to be His burning one and to carry the deposit I'm expectant to receive while in Africa, back to the American church! I want His people awakened and operating in the fullness He died to give us, and I want His children to encounter the living God.
