Headstone For Grandmother

My great- grandmother raised me to love everyone and to keep GOD first in all things.  She took care of her family and she was a pillar of our community.  She was an outspoken person and said what was on her mind.  She never met a stranger.  She was one that would help anyone who was in need. When she was diagnosed with Alzheimers 16 years ago,  it which was heart breaking, but I knew I had to take care of her the same way as she did for me.  I didn't have any siblings to share the responsibility with, so it was hard. The responsibility was shared with my mom, who passed away 12 years ago, and my grandmother,  who is also taking care of my grandad that is on hospice. Having 2 family members on hospice at one time, has lead us to financial hardship. But I must say, I don't regret anything. My conscious is clear and I know we did right by my great-grandmother. 

When she passed away she was 96 years old. Because it was during this Coronavirus Pandemic, we were unable to have a funeral to properly say goodbye. Her life insurance policy wasn't enough to cover the headstone cost. We need help with the cost. Any donations that anyone has to give will help us get to that goal.
