Heart transplant

My name is Royce, I was diagnosed with a rare disease called Amyloidosis. It causes the muscle tissue to thicken and now is effecting my heart.  There is no cure, but there are medications that will help with the symptoms. The medication is not covered by insurance and is very expensive.  I have been told that I need a heart transplant.    There will be travel and housing expenses as well.  

My wife had to retire due to health reasons so this has become a hardship to cover the extra expenses that is a head of us.

Help to cover the medication is needed now and ongoing even after the transplant. You see, I will have to be on this medication for the rest of my life.  When I have the surgery we were told there will be the expenses of travel and housing so my wife can be close by.  This is because of the length of hospital stay and then rehabilitation.
