Baby Liam's fund

On September 9, 2014 the unthinkable happened my precious miracle baby was fighting for his life. Liam's dad triped over the baby gate and fell him in his arms. Our perfect little boy sustained a traumatic brain injury that would require surgery to remove the clot that formed and spend the next weeks in the ICU at children's hospital. Then be transfered to a unit and forever more need ongoing medical care due to severe brain injury that would leave him forever changed. The nureologists said he had sustained brain damage to a large area of his right brain along with the some left sided as well. We were told he was no longer the boy he had been and he would likely have little or no vision , low intellect , cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and may have difficulty feeding himself . The picture painted was grim but he is my miracle baby and I prayed that what ever was in his best interest would be the outcome. My community rallied with healing energy and prayers. 3 weeks later Liam is still here and fighting to recover. He is able to drink from his bottle and his smile lights up the room . We have a long journey ahead of us and I have had to stop working to care for him. I am now on my own with him and am asking for assistance to set up a fund for Liam to help with the added expences as we move forward with his recovery. He will require ongoing medical interventions and specialized care and equipment. I am determined to take this journey with my son and hope for the best possible outcome . However once again I find myself asking my community to assist me for Liam's benefit . They say it takes a village to raise a child and for a disabled child it can make a huge difference in the quality of that child's life . I am not one to ask for help as I usual am the one helping others so this is very difficult for me. However my son needs more than just me he needs his village behind him. I just want to thank those of you who take the time to read this and pass it on. Prayers are also welcome here too. Thank you Liam's community.
