Help me complete university
Donation protected
I’m raising money to fund my first year of university. Student Finance left me without any money or a decision to my application up until yesterday, 25 November (the end of the first term). That is 3 months of torture and endless sleepless nights. During this time I took on a part time job working in Alder Hey (a children’s hospital based in Liverpool) to support myself whilst I was waiting on a decision as my family don’t have the financial means to support me. This was done whilst also being in full time education so I was really stretching myself thin. I’ve done everything in my power and now that I have the decision, I’m reaching out for help. They’ve told me that I’m only entitled to financial support for my 2nd and 3rd year of study so I’m left having to pay the 1st years tuition out of my own pocket which is £9250. I’m absolutely gutted as my goal is to be a SEN teacher and I thought that this would be my chance to finally realise my dream! Any monies raised would truly make a massive difference and contribute to being able to help so many children with Special Needs and improve their quality of life both in an educational setting and beyond.
