Darren's Heart Fund

Well as some may already know, Darren had a heart attack Saturday 9/20/14. he is hooked up to many medicines and machines. He is hooked up to one that is pumping his heart for him and moving the blood around his body so he doesn't have to, this is to help the heart heal its damage. He is hooked up to oxygen and the doctors have him heavily sedated so he won't remember any of this. The doctor has high hopes for his recovery but right now we just need lots of prayers. I will keep everyone posted with his condition as it goes on. It's going to be a long road ahead but with love, support, god and prayer we are going to pull through this.
He does need a transplant and they need to talk to him (Darren) about the outer box before they will put it in.  Basically it's a pump in his heart that will feed the blood from the left side up to the main aterery and back into the blood stream and the box will be a battery pack on the outside of his body that he will have to carry around with him until he gets his transplant.  They have transferred him to University of Penn.
We are asking for any donations to help cover the medical bills and household bills.

I just want to thank everyone that has donated and the people that are going to donate.  I know this will mean a lot to Dawn and Darren.  It has been a hard week for Dawn and the two families.  Darren is a strong guy, and I know he will pull through.  It is just going to take time, so PLEASE keep him in your hearts.
