Sjogren Syndrome Human Trials
Donation protected
My name is Mary-Clare and I have suffered from Primary Sjogren Syndrome for over 25 years. Sjogren Syndrome is an autoimmune disease which causes dryness in the mouth, eyes, skin etc. and systemic conditions like painful arthritis and extreme fatigue. Twelve years ago Dr. Michael Dosch and colleagues at Toronto Sick Children's Hospital did research on mice with Primary Sjogren Syndrome. When the protein ICA69 was illiminated (see photo of me in a t-shirt)by the use of a vaccine the mice were essentially cured of Sjogren Syndrome! Dr. Dosch tried unsuccessfully for several years to get funding for the human trials of Primary Sjogren Syndrome. Unfortunately Dr. Dosch is too old and sick to pursue funding for this research now. Can you please help fund the human trials for Primary Sjogren Syndrome and the ICA69 vaccine? If the vaccine works for humans, millions of Primary Sjogren Syndrome sufferers around the world will be eternally grateful. If you Google ICA69 and Sjogren syndrome together you will find out about this research.
I know it is a lot of money to ask for but as Confucious said, "It is better to light one small candle than sit cursing the dark." Thank you very much for your kind attention.
