On May 10th, 2019 4 year old Shiloh was attacked by his babysitters Rottweiler. The attacked was so severe it caused him to loose blood flow in his right leg, air in his knee, puncture wounds up to his armpit and a significant amount of missing flesh and muscle.
He was transferred from children’s mercy to a Vascular surgeon at KU, where they were able to repair the main artery in his right leg. He was extremely close to loosing his leg completely and will forever have only 50% use of the leg due to the severity of the attack.
Right now they are watching for any signs of infection from all of the wounds. This will be an extremely long road of recovery for this sweet boy. His mother, Samantha, will be taking time off work to be with her son on his long journey to recovery. Any help or prayers will be greatly appreciated!
