Help Jair & Rebeca Get Their PR
Don protégé
Jair and Rebeca were born in Costa Rica and moved to Mexico as infants. In June of 2004, their father was granted a Ministers Visa in Canada to serve as a Reverend; they accompanied their parents and migrated to Canada when Jair was 8 and Rebeca was 7.
Their temporary residency, which needed to be extended every 2 to 4 years, did not grant them any benefits such as healthcare, work permits, or post-secondary studies. Their last extension on their temporary residency was rejected, and they are now in dire need of submitting their PR application within a month.
They have been working towards their PR for 3 years, but it has been difficult to gather the funds. The entire process costs around nine thousand dollars, and one of their restrictions continues to be that they are not allowed to work.
They have always been involved in their community, in organizations such as Scouts Canada and CEF Ontario. Volunteering constantly at various church events and affiliate events such as RZIM, Guidelight Retreat, Pregnancy Care Centre Fundraisers, etc. They have also been members of their local church, serving in many areas at Church on the Queensway, Comunidad Cristiana, and now Grace Fellowship Church.
Whether you’re able to help them by donating towards their goal or you’re able to keep them in prayer, their gratitude is hard to put into words.
All donations will go towards their legal fees. Any additional funds will go towards keeping them afloat.
Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
