Medical Funds Needed 4 Cancer Bills

I am Betty Provencal, Susan's Mother. I am trying to have a fund raiser for her to help pay for mounting medical bills.
Susan Provencal is my daughter, incredibly brave and she is my inspiration. Susan developed type 1 Juvenile Diabetes when she was 5 years old. She is a very brittle diabetic and has suffered the demons of diabetes also. She is blind in one eye and has a kidney transplant, and also suffers from severe nerve damage. Susan's nerve damage to her hands and feet got much worse after going thru chemo treatments. In spite of this, Susan tried to live as normal a life as possible. She moved to MO. 12 years ago for a 'new lease on life'. She got a job that gave her medical insurance and life insurance. Her medical expenses for her diabetes made life a struggle, but Susan tried to keep her head above water financially.
Seven years ago Susan got the news that none of us want to hear. She had Breast Cancer. Not a tumor, but cancer cells. Sue had both types, ductal Breast Cancer and lobular Breast Cancer, Stage 3. The ductal Breast Cancer broke thru to the lymphnodes. Susan was on temporary disability at this time. Medical bills just kept mounting up. Susan had a mastectomy on her left side, chemo treatments and radiation. Sue was out of work for 7 1/2 months. She went thru a really tough protocol of chemo which added to her nerve damage in her hands. She has use of only her ring fingers and pinky fingers on both hands making her hands look like paralyzed hands. Susan got thru it all and went back to work. She went 7 years cancer free after all that. Susan had many medical bills adding to the other medical bills, plus her teeth started crumbling from the strong chemo, which also added to her mounting bills. We were all happy that she was cancer free for 7 years. We thought she was safe, cured.
May of this year, 2014, Susan had a rash on her chest where the cancer was at the first time. Sue convinced herself and me that the rash was shingles. She had shingles earlier in the year. Only this rash didn't scab or dry up. Her Oncologist in MO. said it looked like the Breast Cancer was back and he ordered a biopsy. Sure enough, Breast Cancer reared it's ugly head again in the very same area she had it the first time and the same type cancer, ER Positive, HER2 Positive and Progesterone Negative.!! This time the cancer was not typed, it's referred to as a recurrence.
Susan came home to Rhode Island for treatment and to be near family. The medical bills keep mounting, her teeth keep crumbling and breaking, and this time the chemo has sent her to the hospital twice. Ambulance bill is $5,000. She now has a home care nurse and an Infusion company comes to the house so that Susan might avoid another trip to the hospital, and so far it's been helping.
In the meantime she is on short term disability from work. In the middle of November long term disability will begin. That will be 60% of her normal wage, the wage that was difficult to live on when it was 100%. It will be difficult especially with continuing medical bills. When long term disability starts, Susan's medical insurance and life insurance will be eliminated. So no job,no benefits and more bills. This is just as bad as the Breast Cancer that continues to crop up.
