F U Cancer! Help fulfil the Sherriff family wish.

The Sherriff family have received devastating news with Dani being diagnosed with a Glioblastoma (GBM) tumour which is an aggressive and terminal form of brain cancer. As she begins the fight for her life it is time for us as a community to get around the family and give back to them, as they have given to us over the years.

Anyone who has lived in Strathalbyn would know the Sherriff family. Dani and Sam (and their children) have volunteered in our community for the past 20+ years. They have contributed greatly to the community by volunteering for the SES, Strathalbyn Football Club, Storm Basketball and local basketball. The family have given countless hours helping families and helping our kids fulfil their dreams in local sport and to keep our sporting clubs going.

After asking Dani what her one ultimate wish is she said to have the holiday of a lifetime with her family and make more memories and spend quality time together.

I would like to raise $20,000 so that the family of 6 can go on an all inclusive holiday to the beautiful Port Douglas in Queensland (where they have always dreamed of going) to relax and be together as a family while Dani is feeling well. The funds may also go towards accommodation needs in Adelaide while Dani is receiving treatment. The funds will be used by the family as they see fit and depending on their priorities and needs.
