Help Eyva get new lungs!

Eyva is about to get listed for a double lung transplant for her Cystic fibrosis, which she's been working to get for years now. A new set of lungs will help her to be with us years longer and to live a happier life. Unfortunately, lung transplants and associated costs can turn out to be quite expensive and paying for expenses related to post transplant care and other associated needs add up quickly. Eyva has saved up some money towards her transplant, but it's just not enough.

Eyva was diagnosed with CF at the age of 4 months and given only 10 years to live. Thanks to modern medicine and "good genetics" she's has exceeded expectations and has been with us for 34 wonderful years. Unfortunately, her lungs are now on their last breaths. Over the last few months, her lung function has begun to drastically decline. When she's doing "well" she has about 1/3 the lung function of a healthy person. Lately her lung function has dropped even lower than that. Doing daily tasks has gotten difficult to the point that it takes all her energy, and she's on oxygen 24/7 to help maintain a "normal" life.

Now is the time to reach out and help how you can. Please do what you can to help. If you can't give, anything helps, even positive thoughts and prayers. We greatly appreciate any help that's given.
