In 2019, I took the next step in my journey and career of spreading my passion for educating children outdoors by starting Eyes Of The World Nature Immersion.
In 1998 I graduated college with my degree in Elementary Education and stated that some day I will open a school named Eyes Of The World. For over 20 years I have been integrating nature into every aspect of my interactions with children.
Founding Eyes Of The World Discovery Center gifted me 7 years of hands on work with preschoolers in the forest as well expanding my network of colleagues, professional development trainings, building/maintaining a beautiful outdoor classroom and most importantly instilling a deep rooted love for the outdoors for so many children and families.
Being recognized as Conservationist of the Year by the Kittery Land Trust was an amazing honor and so validating of my work.
Eyes Of The World Nature Immersion, LLC is fully insured through Eastern Insurance and offers preschool & elementary school outdoor nature programs as well as teacher trainings, school consulting, outdoor classroom development & EOTWNI curriculum integration. I
I have been told by many, "If you build it they will come". That time has come!
For the next month, I am reaching out to my community, families and lovers of nature for support in starting this business. The funds would go directly towards my liability insurance for the year, equipment/supplies, trainings (nature based teacher conferences, wildlife first aid, travel expenses, business consulting, Maine Primitive Skills School & advertising/marketing).
