Eye Surgery for Sylvia Figueroa

Sylvia Figueroa needs eye surgery-let's help!
Our friend Sylvia (center back row) suffered from asthma as a child which left her with blocked tear ducts. While living in Venezuela, she had surgery to both eyes to open the ducts. Unfortunately the stent in her left eyelid did not naturally exit as it should have. It broke off and remains lodged in the duct causing redness, irritation, and blurred vision.
She needs a procedure called a dacryocystorhinostomy and has found a doctor and clinic in her insurance plan to perform it; however, with a high deductible - she can only get this treatment with assistance!
Additionally her right eye now has foggy vision due to a membrane rubbing which will be a separate laser procedure at a later date.
Remember all the great days of tennis we have enjoyed with Sylvia? If we all can contribute whatever amount is comfortable, we can raise the money she needs in a short time and get her on the court and seeing that ball again!
No donation is too small or too large, but the sooner we raise $4,000.00 for her out-of-pocket expenses - the better, so she can get back on the surgical schedule.
Sylvia loves and appreciates this country so much! She would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. She is looking for part-time work but that's not easy to find with limited transportation available. Let's show her the true spirit of America and help our friend in her time of need!
