Eye surgery for Leo the Kitten

Leo was a stray that really became a family member almost instantly after we rescued him.
He is now a great friend in our little family.

Leo caught a nasty eye infection while being a stray outdoors.  When we took him in, his eye was in terrible disarray.  We felt terrible for him.
We took him in to a trusty vet in the area, and after a good amount of visits and money, we finally got the eye to the point that he wasn't in pain.
At that point, we just couldn't let him go, and he became family.

Fast forward 2 months.  His eye was doing great, and he was playing around and being a normal kitten.   One morning we wake up, and his eye looks terrible again.   Very bad shape.  We take him into the vet. and now they say it has gotten to the point that we need to remove it for him to live a normal life.  He's in some pain again, and once again we feel terrible.

So we get a quote from a specialist near us.  $2350!!!  What?!........
But as the specialist tells us, she will do the proper job to fix the eye up, and make it so its never a problem again and the look right.

I shopped around and received better quotes for an eye removal from other vets, but after questioning them about the procedure, I discover that they will not do the best job that Leo deserves.

So, now we are here.  Living in New York is expensive, and we want to do this for him because we love him and want him to have a health life with us.

That is why we turned to our friends and family.
If you can help, anything, will be greatly appreciated
God bless.
