Help with Medical/Living Expenses

We always hear about medical expenses putting someone in the "poor house" but never thought it would happen to us.  Actually is is a foreclosure we have to deal with and we need your help.  As our family and friends know, I have been fighting Stage 4 Colon cancer for the past 3 1/2 years/  After 4 major operations, the most recent being 2 weeks ago, and countless number of chemo and radiation treatments I am still fighting for a normal life.  Two days before I was suppose to begin my chemo treatment, Jeff had a major heart attack that required triple by-pass surgery.  Neither of us could work and we went through both of our 401k's and had to charge our living expenses to our credit cards.  A few months ago we tried to get a loan modification and/or a hardship refinance from our mortgage broker.  Waited also two months and were told we did not meet our mortgage holder's guidelines.  In trying to keep current with the medical expenses we had to adjust our mortgage payment to cover the interest payment, property taxes and home owner's insurance.  This was not enough for our mortgage holder and they have threaten us with foreclosure if we do not bring our account current in the next few weeks.  I am asking for your help in getting ahead of this by trying to raise enough to meet our mortgage payments for the next few months.  This will give me time to explore the possibility of a VA refinance.  We know we will still have to deal with the medical expenses but would not have to worry about keeping a roof over our heads.  We would be so grateful for any assistance you could give us to meet this goal.  Please, if you have any questions, let me know.
