Explorers scouts trip to Kenya
Donation protected
In August 2020 our group of Explorer scouts aged 14-18 years old are travelling over 6000 miles to a town called Nakuru in Kenya. The group will spend a week with children in a local school helping with sport activities, teaching new skills or helping with the building work on a new classroom at the school.
The children who attend this school live in the local community which is very deprived, often the only meal the children get is at school.
This is an opportunity for our young people to give help where it’s needed to some of the most disadvantaged children
Please give what ever you can to support the cause. Each young person going has to raise in excess of £2000 each and so the young people in the group are holding many fund raising events between now and summer 2020
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any donation you can offer.
