Expenses from Doug’s bike accident

On Friday Aug 10 when I arrived home from out of town I was expecting go give my husband a big hug and talk to him about my trip. Instead I arrived to a police officer who told me Doug was in a motorcycle accident and had been life flighted to a hospital in Portland. That’s the moment my world shattered. Doug and I have been married for nearly 20 years! He’s my soul mate and my love and is currently listed as stable but could take a turn for the worse at any moment. He’s got 10 broken ribs, and ruptured lung, a ruptured spleen, a broken shoulder, and road rash from the neck down. We are so lucky and thankful that he’s still with us, however we have an extremely long painful road ahead of us. He is still in the ICU and will be for quite a while yet. Doug is the soul provider for our family of 5, while I make a little bit of money babysitting it is not nearly enough to live off for the amount of time he is going to be recovering and not able to work. I hate asking for help, but I really don’t see how we will make it if I don’t. Even if you can’t donate, please say a prayer for my husband and our family.
