Expenses for Rich Michlik's family

It is so regretfully hard for me to say but my second Father passed away unexpectedly. Rich would always joke that his life would make an extraordinary novel, if ever he had the time to write it. How true that statement was and remains still. It is beyond humbling to see the many lives he has touched along his life’s journey. He was THAT guy in every sense possible. That guy that was Always there for his family/friends, that guy who always did for others and never expected anything in return. A man who raised his four children, as well as 3 of his eldest grandchildren, the guy who’s home was Always open to everyone, there was Always an extra plate even despite his struggles as a single parent. Rick Always did it with a smile on his face and that sparkle in his eye...with nothing but LOVE for all. He would move mountains and anything else in his way for his four children, ten grandchildren, many “adoptive” children as well as their children and theirs! A truly one in a million Son, Brother, Father, Grampy, Great-Grampy, Uncle, Friend and so much more.

Seven months ago you all joined us in Congratulating him on his Beyond Overdue, well deserved and earned retirement. I am heartbroken to now share that this one in a Million, Extraordinary person has passed unexpectedly and has rejoined his Parents, son and son in-law amongst many waiting to welcome him home. His children and grandchildren are all truly devastated that they have all lost their Hero, but know he is where he needs to be and Finally is at Peace long last.

Despite all the hard work and long hours along the years, Rick was not able to save much. His oldest daughter who is on disability and unable to work, lived with him and he helped raised her two sons. In reality as with many people, bills pile up and expenses still need to be paid. The family is at a loss as to how they will gather the funds needed to take care of his affairs. Any little bit will help them to give him a service he deserves.
