EXILE ELECTRONICS COULD USE YOUR HELP

Hi, this is Exile Electronics and we could use your help. This is a pretty awkward time for us as a business. We know it's been tough for everyone in recent years, and we were just squeaking by, but then recently we got hit with three massive fraudulent transactions by our credit card merchant company, and we have to pay it all back.

The criminals ordered expensive items that we had to order in. We followed protocol and had them pay in advance. The credit card company had plenty of time to inform us there was an issue before the items were picked up, but they didn’t tell us for three months by which time we had very little recourse. We tried hard for months to defend ourselves with the credit card companies with no success and now they have their lawyers pressuring us to pay it all back. We have managed to pay some but unfortunately, we don’t have the remaining cash sitting around and this could be the end for the shop unless we sort it out.

What we're hoping to do is two things: one is to see if anyone feels like contributing a few pennies to help us dig out of this rather sudden and large chunk of debt. And two is to let people know that we are still here but need a tiny bit more support if you'd like us to stick around longer term. We know it's a market and if the market has spoken, then so be it and we're out of luck. We also know that asking musicians for money in this economic climate is a bit galling, so if nothing comes of this we fully understand. But people do seem to like us, so we don't want to be that cafe down the street that goes out of business and makes you think, "I liked that place. I would have gone in more if I knew..." They say asking for help is the hardest part. This was a debate, believe us...
