EWB-GWU La Peña Trip

Donation protected
Engineers Without Borders at The George Washington University is a collegiate, student-run organization. Our goal is to provide members with a way to extend their engineering knowledge beyond the classroom while expanding their global perspectives and giving back to the community. Our goal is to design and implement student-devised sustainable engineering solutions in developing countries and in the Washington, D.C metro area.
We are currently fundraising for our trip to La Peña, El Salvador in January 2018. We have been working in this small community for six years and have built 22 compost latrines to date. As we continue to build compost latrines for more families, we are also working with the town to improve their water catchment and distribution.
All donations will help our chapter to fund the high travel costs for our members going on the trip.  These donations will help lower the expense of the trip and allow us to put more of our funds towards the resources needed to complete the projects.
Thank you for your donation! You are helping EWB-GWU fund our trip and improve quality of life for the people of La Peña.
