Mia Presley Heart Fund

First of all I would like to say I hate to be this guy, I've never been one to ask for anything but this seems to be the only way I can think of to be there for my family as much as I need to be at the moment. Around 20 weeks of pregnancy my girlfriend and I discovered our daughter had a rare form of congenital heart disease, a left ventricular aneurysm. Her condition is very rare, her cardiologist at Vanderbuilt said in her 30 years she has only seen this in 2 other patients, and she could only find roughly 30 documented cases in the world. Out of those 30, 5 mothers decided to abort, 8 babies didn't make it through utero, and the other 17 she couldn't find enough information to see the statistics of our daughter making it past birth. I'm sure at this point you can see why we were scared. Fast foward to 36 weeks, the cardiologist told us her left ventricular chamber was not pumping as efficient as it needed to and was worried that when she cut the umbilical cord it would basically fail resulting in something no one wanted to happen. As you can see from the picture baby mia is here and she is doing well as of now but her condition is so rare that everyone is on their toes because anything could happen anytime, the main worry being it ruptures. Mias mother Emilie also had a rough pregnancy passing two kidney stones, as well as being diagnosed with preclampsia 2 days after giving birth and almost going into seizure because of high blood pressure. I do not want to decieve anyone, to make things clear all of Mias medical bills are funded and we are very blessed for this. This fundraiser is for her parents and anything else mia would need. Tomorrow Mia is getting a heart catheter which is going to determine if they can operate on it, best case scenario they can do open hearr surgery, remove the aneurysm and she makes it, worst case she has to have a heart transplant, or doesn't make it. Tomorrow is also the last night we can stay in the hospital. We have applied for the Ronald McDonald house but can stay there a max of 30 days if we even get in. My goal is to spread this and get 1,000 people to donate just 1 dollar each so I may take off work for the next month to support both of my girls in anyway they need it and to ensure we have a place to live once Mia is released. Once again I hate to be this guy, but I'll do anything for my family even if it means begging for a dollar in order to be there for them when they need me to be. I really do appreciate whoever you are for even reading our story. Your donation will be appreciated more than you can imagine. If you would like to contact me about any questions or for updates on Mias health feel free to email me anytime, [email redacted]

Thank you for reading.
