Sanders House Fire

Tony, Jenny, Kailee (7), Jai-Lyn (6), and Mikah (5) Sanders were devastated by a massive house fire on October 5, 2018.  While we are incredibly grateful for their health and safety, they lost everything in the fire including their beloved dog, Mochi.   Tony's motorcycle was parked in the garage, their Ford Escape was burned and a BMW that Tony was working on was also damaged. 

Many of you have reached out to ask what is needed.  (Which is so appreciated!)  The answer is...everything! However, Tony and Jenny are still working to figure where they will land once the dust has settled.  For their immediate needs, they are staying with Tony's parents - however, they will need somewhere more permanent soon.  They all need clothing and basic necessities as well.

If you can contribute financially, I know that would be very much appreciated.  There are a lot of unknowns regarding insurance and exactly what the needs will be.  However, we know this will cause considerable financial strain.  

Many of you know Jenny has been experiencing debilitating health issues for several years and was hoping to plan a trip to Mayo Clinic in the near future.  We would like to continue to support her in that endeavor as we know she is so needed by Tony, her sweet kiddos and of course, all of us.  

We have also heard from several of you who have clothes and other household items you have offered up - thank you!  Please e-mail a list of anything you might have available to [email redacted].  (Jayme Humenczuk and Ruth Clark will be managing this for them for now.)  We will let you know as soon as we have a place for it.  Gift cards would also be very helpful! 

In terms of meals, I am still working with Jenny to see what is needed.  We will put together a meal train to share with those who are local and would like to bless them with meals or groceries.
