Evie DeSalvo's Memorial Fund

Evie DeSalvo, 54, of Florence, CO, passed away November 13, 2020 surrounded by her family. She fought a long battle with cancer with courage, strength, and grace to the very end.

Evie is known to her family and friends for her generous spirit and passion for life. She was endlessly devoted to those she loved, of which there were many. When you visited Evie, you always left with a full belly and a full heart. Evie's children and grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she was a consistent loving and nurturing presence in their lives. Besides her love for family and friends, Evie was also passionate about spending time in nature. She was an avid learner, always curious about the world around her. The last years of her life were dedicated to healing, and although her illness ultimately took her physical body, her fierce dedication to healing her body, mind, and spirit is an inspiration to many.

Evie had many people in her life who love and and will miss her greatly. Her family has gotten many inquiries from people who would like to donate to a memorial fund for her, and the generosity of her community is truly remarkable and greatly appreciated. The funds contributed here will be managed by her children, Kaycie, Erica, Jeremy, and Logun, to pay for her final expenses. If there are any funds remaining, the family will donate them to the Ray of Hope Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit that responds to the urgent needs of Coloradans with cancer by providing financial assistance with dignity and humanity.
