Everybody Loves Kimi!
And Kimi needs our help.
In November, Kimi was diagnosed with T3b melanoma. What stage it's at is unknown until more testing is done.
After four CT scans, two ultrasounds, two needle biopsies, and a PT scan, the surgery that was scheduled for Dec. 12 has been postponed while the medical team checks other issues revealed by the PT scan.
This includes a lesion on the brain, lesions on her right leg, and an enlarged abdominal lymph node. So far, all the testing has only raised more questions.
Numerous experts have been consulted, and Kimi's case has been brought before a melanoma board, with more tests called for to see if chemotherapy or immunotherapy should be started before surgery is scheduled.
You know where this is going. Kimi's share of bills and co-pays has exceeded $9,500.00, and her out-of-pocket limit is $10,000.00, which resets on January 1.
Many have already donated just from word of mouth, and if you are one of those people, thank you! Kimi will not be able to work for some time, and anything - any amount - you can give will help Kimi and Ray get through this challenging and complex process.
In gratitude,
Robin
