This year has been extremely difficult to raise the needed funds to keep the doors open. With the mandated restrictions, our yearly fundraising events had to be postponed or cancelled. We have lost $40,000 in needed funds because of the lack of fundraising events. We need your help to get through to the end of 2020. The combined expenses for rent, utilities, animal supplies and medical and vetting for the next 3 months is $8925. Help us to continue to help the homeless pets of this community!

More information about Loving Heart Animal Shelter: The Loving Heart Animal Shelter is a private, independent, 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation governed by a volunteer Board of Directors composed of community members who are dedicated to animal welfare and currently a full time Executive Director. We are funded primarily through private donations and service revenue. We are not controlled or funded by any statewide or national organization. Donations made to national animal welfare groups do not benefit our local pets. We are based in Lafayette, Indiana.
