Eve ends one family’s cycle of violence, effectively keeping the rest of us safer and providing a model of hope and possibility for multitudes of survivors.

Eve’s successful San Francisco premiere with elite instrumentalists and vocalists, and exquisite dance artists had a tangible emotional healing impact on the audience & cast which rippled outward into the greater community.

Art That Shifts Paradigm: Eve offers a generous glimpse behind the closed doors of domestic violence, trusting and believing in the human capacity for greater understanding and compassion.

Eve’s Place in the Canon of Contemporary Opera can influence legislation that moves perpetual resources in the direction of survivors.

Eve, An Opera is a multi genre performance showcasing dance, aerial, and a body of music by unique mother/son composer team, Anny Densmore & Tony Owen. Eve weaves a compelling personal story about women's exploitation and liberation, and generational trauma.

This grassroots performance blossomed from a backyard show in Bolinas, CA to a full house at The Palace of Fine Arts Theatre in San Francisco in 2022. This ambitious effort was only possible with the heartfelt support of our greater community.

We now bring our 2024 production to the ODC Theater - a vibrant space seated in community development that feels aligned with our mission. However, despite a three show run in this intimate 170 seat theater, ticket sales will not be able to cover the entire budget for this production. After careful estimation, we project a gap of ~$50,000 to cover our costs. So, with heartfelt invitation we launched this Go Fund Me to bring our community into the next chapter of co-creation.

This courageous mother and son collaborative journey continues, valuing emotional depth and a loving, healing process around evolving this show. We are thrilled to bring its next iteration to the ODC Theater in San Francisco for 3 performances (December 20, 21 and 22).
