Veterinary Bills. Help Our Family!

Hi, My name is Nicole. Almost a month ago, my dads dog "Shorty" (a 9year old Chihuahua) ran away from his home on the morning of August 26th in East Boston. My son and I went out everyday and everynight trying to find him, with no luck we hung "Missing Dog" posters everywhere. I also posted his picture and info ALL OVER facebook and called every animal vet, clinic and hospital I could find. Unfortunately, we came up empty handed. Almost a month went by and I seen a post on facebook from Revere Police that stated " Loose chihuahua recovered, on the verge of deceased" I called Revere police IMMEDIATELY. It was Shorty!! I got there as fast as I could and there was our baby!(somewhat) The shape he was in was HORRIFYING.       Shorty now weighs just over 3lbs (he was almost 10lbs) his back paw is either sprained or broken, i am not sure at this moment because we cant afford the Vet bills. Shorty is severly emanciated and needs to be checked out by a vet ASAP. He IS part of our family and it kills us to see him in such a critical condition knowing there is nothing we can do for him right now.
