Evan O’Neil
Donation protected
Hello…our names are Paul and Amy Oneil, and our son Evan was recently diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma of the face…a rare childhood cancer; as if “childhood cancer” isn’t rare enough. Evan was successful in a surgery, which removed a large portion of the cancer; however, that was just the beginning of his journey. He is currently receiving chemotherapy treatments, and will move on to the next phase in the near future. Evan was found to be a great match for proton beam radiation, which is available at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. It has been identified as being the best course of treatment for the most successful outcome. The location is over 6 hours away, and Evan will need to receive 6-8 weeks of radiation (5 days a wk.), along with additional chemotherapy treatments. Due to the distance and frequency of treatment during this time, we will need to temporarily rent an apartment close to the hospital, as well as carry all of the extra expenses associated with the move and treatment plan. Evan is an amazing child and continues to prove his “Warrior” name proud! We have a long road ahead; but cancer stops for no one; so carry on we must. If you are able to make a donation towards the costs of Evan’s treatment, we greatly appreciate any and all help! If you are not able to contribute financially at this time, we completely understand, and ask for your continued prayers…as they are as good as gold! ❤️ We appreciate all the messages, prayers, thoughtful gestures, and each and every showing of support! We know that together, we will get through this, and Evan can get back to enjoying just being able to be a kid again!
With much love and gratitude,
